Challenges and Opportunities in Institutional Advancement and Development: A Master Class with Leading Experts

Posted on: March 18th, 2025 by Perfect Image

In late 2024, Perfect Image assembled a group of widely respected education and nonprofit leaders from the U.S. Southeast and East Coast to meet and discuss the most salient issues of the day in the field of Advancement and Development. Challenges and opportunities are presented in a professionally filmed and produced master class video series, providing valuable insights into distinct areas of this evolving field of specialization at today’s educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.

The discussion, which was conceived and produced for the benefit of allied professionals and those who aspire to leadership roles in this critical field, resulted in the production of eight videos that home in on specific topics, including these and more:

  • advancement-development-logo.pngEvolution of the professionalized roles of today’s Advancement and Development leaders
  • Talent retention challenges and the importance of strong organizational leadership
  • Strategies for building community, engagement, and constituent and donor relationships
  • The value of storytelling and prioritizing in-person communications in today’s digital era
  • How to engage and cultivate support and advocacy among younger generations

“Bringing together such an exceptional group of leaders made for an authentic and compelling discussion,” says Ira Jackson, president of Perfect Image, who hosted and moderated the event in Atlanta. “We created short videos from the roundtable discussion to provide Advancement and Development professionals the flexibility to go straight to the issues and opportunities that are most relevant to their needs and journeys in the field. It’s all gold, with no footage left on the cutting room floor. There's no doubt that these perspectives and meaningful commentary will be of great value to other Advancement and Development professionals for years to come.”
